DIMMU BORGIR: New Video Interview With SILENOZ Posted Online
April 7, 2008Ren Ackermann of UK's Contraband Candy conducted an interview with DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Silenoz last month (March 2008) in Oslo, Norway. Among other things, he talks about the Norwegian black metal band's U.S. tour with BEHEMOTH and KEEP OF KALESSIN, diplomacy within the group, where his musical inspiration comes from, and hiding in the woods.

DIMMU BORGIR will film a new video on April 14-15 in the Los Angeles area. The band is looking for fans in armor (any and all styles welcome) to take part in the video shoot.

DIMMU BORGIR's North American "The Invaluable Darkness Tour Part 2 Legions Of The Chosen Few", officially kicked off in Toronto on April 2 and will include a stop at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worchester, MA on April 26.
DIMMU BORGIR's November 6, 2007 concert at Sentrum Scene in Oslo was filmed for an upcoming DVD release.
As previously reported, DIMMU BORGIR's latest album, "In Sorte Diaboli", has been certified gold in the band's home country of Norway for sales in excess of 15,000 copes. DIMMU BORGIR is said to be the first metal band in Norway to shift than 15,000 units of a single release.
DIMMU BORGIR was honored in the "Metal" category at Alarmprisen 2007 (Alarm Awards) on October 27, 2007 at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway. Also nominated in the "Metal" category were the latest releases from SATYRICON ("Now, Diabolical"),AUDREY HORNE ("Le Fol"),MAYHEM ("Ordo Ad Chao") and KEEP OF KALESSIN ("Armada").
